Travel companions

Nataya patted Yuki's back, smoothing out the fur. "Do you want some company? We could go with you for a little while, though I would need to make a leash for Yuki." She said, shifting her gaze to the deer and smiling. The doe rested her head on Nataya's lap, her eyes closing as she relaxed.

Lydia appeared behind her sister, grinning. "Look what I got." She said in a singsong tone as she held the bottom of her shirt out, revealing a cacophony of ingredients. She had managed to get her hands on salted deer meat, some basic herbs and spices, and a burnt loaf of bread. "Tonight, we feast like Kings." She said, wiggling her eyebrows.
