High School Never Ends Pt. 2 (JP)

When the teacher walked in, an angry looking elderly woman who probably lived through every war up to now, glared over the teenagers. She gestured to the blackboard. “You see today’s focus is our test. Books away, pencils out. Now.” Her voice was always surprisingly calm, but there was that authority that made everyone listen.

Lotus instantly set her books and notebooks beneath her desk and pulled out a freshly sharpened pencil.

Leon, however, dropped his books aside like they were trash and tapped the eraser of his pencil on his desk. A few girls in the class gazed at him dreamily, which he seemed to not notice at all.

Nikolai pulled a pencil from behind his ear as the teacher passed the tests out. Eyes wandering over to Lotus he smiled.

Ami stifled a snicker when she saw Nikolai smiling at Lotus. She quickly focused her vision on her own desk and twisted a pen.

With the tests all handed out, the teacher said, “If I see any of you cheating, you’ll automatically get a failure on this test and a week’s worth of detention. Begin!”

Lotus didn’t even notice the look Nikolai was giving her as she started on her test.

Leon yawned and got to work, a bored expression on his face.

Nikolai shook his head before starting on the test. Compared to the tutor Alex gave him it was a cake walk.

With all the information still so fresh, Ami was having no trouble on her test. It looked like another easy A.

Once everyone was done and the test was taken up, the teacher started on giving them all a few notes and, of course, homework. Everyone was happy for the bell that released them to their next class.

Lotus had her art class, so she slipped off to that.

Meanwhile, Leon went to his gym class.
