Kailus: Brace

Kailus mentally prepared himself for attack. He wanted to give them a chance to surrender, but worried that this would lose them an advantage.

But then, there were two extra people hidden in the forest that would still favour Kailus' side. He stayed seated by the fire, cloak drawn around him, but his hand on his sword ready to spring up and draw it should the need arise.

He patted the 'sleeping' Tain, "Not yet, but be ready."
