Kailus: Non lethal until they attack

"We don't actually know that they are bandits. All evidence points to that, but we have no absolute proof, so I refuse to kill them immediately on that basis." Kailus considers, "We try non lethal means to subdue them. The actions of their compatriots means that they are quick to resort to violence, so I have no problem being the first to strike if we have to." he reasons.

"If they attack us first, we switch to lethal means." he taps his sword. "Clemm, your bow has worked well today, so you'll be using a ranged attack from cover as soon as any talking ends. Tain, you will be with me inside the tower under the cloaks. Your hammer and shield are going to be our first line of defence when they realise their friends are dead. Either they attack us outright, or they give up. I really doubt the latter will happen so be ready for attack. Fend them off until Clemm can pick off one of them. Then we can strike together. I'll have my sword drawn by then."

"Borri," he looks at the halfling. "Outright attack isn't going to play to your strengths, so stay hidden and use any opportunity that may present itself."
