Kailus: Defend

Rather than dive out of the way, Kailus felt that their best chance was two try and protect Clemm while he used his bow. The only other option was to abandon Clemm.

He drew his long sword, and took a stance, noting in a second the charge of the two men. "Yield or die." he barked, "You are surrounded."

It was not likely to change their attack but it might cause them a little doubt, time enough to get the advantage.
With his sword at the ready he dodged to his right side and then slashed his sword over the closest assailant, hoping that Clemm would deal with the other. HE only had to delay them until his companions arrived. Not need to take chances.
