Another Meeting
JP with mdman, Jaxx, Trustno1 and Cindy
Choi awoke and tended to his morning routine of meditation and exercise. During the exercise, he again saw a vision of Dahlia in a shadow, as the f she were hidden. As Choi meditated upon this image, he saw another: a woman floating .
As he showered, Choi received a notification that he had received a text. It was from Dahlia. After drying off, Choi put on his jeans, a polo shirt that was long enough to conceal anything he tucked into his jeans. He thought today, since they were likely dealing with vampires, he should take his gao anywhere they investigated.
Choi read the text from Dahlia: Meet for breakfast? , to which he replied with a thumb up.
Choi then sent text to Ein-Ji and Master Sung: One word: Vampires
He met Dahlia for the breakfast buffet. She, like him, had awoken to read, exercise, and shower. She was wearing tight white shorts and a blue blouse. The buffet could supply each of them their likings. Choi enjoyed fresh fruit; Dahlia, bagels and fresh fruit.
It was a calm time for them before the meeting. They had gotten used to the squabbling that usually occurs at these.
Alyssa walked to the meeting room with Peter, Max and her trusty laptop. Her mind was rather full with ideas and thoughts, some of which connected the rest didn't. Hopefully, some sense would be made in regards to the investigation at the meeting, but at this point Alyssa doubted it. She set up her laptop, as they waited on the others to arrive. Then asked the two men in the room, "I'm gonna order some coffee, either of you want something?”
"I'm good from the coffee, bacon as well as other things from this morning," said Sartre.
Agent Powers nodded to Alyssa as he replied, "Sure, coffee sounds good." Then he took a seat.
Dahlia walked in in her shorts of white and blue blouse. She and Choi thought it best if they did not enter together.
“Good morning, all,” she wished upon the Illuminati present. “I trust you all had a pleasant evening and are rested. Alyssa, I hope you are feeling well this morning!”
"Good morning," Alyssa responded. "Yes, I am feeling much better, thanks. We were just going to order some coffee, would you like some?”
“No,” Dahlia informed Alyssa, “I am quite fine. It was an interesting evening.”
"Alyssa found some interesting stuff," said Sartre.
Then Ekaterina entered the room while ending a phone call. She took a deep breath to regain her composure before she elegantly passed the doors. She just had an unpleasant phone call and needed to focus on the mission. As usual she looked amazing and regal. She then elegantly said, "Good morning." Then she sat next to Agent Powers as she elegantly said, "Did you rest well Mr. Powers?"
He shrugged as he said, "Yeah my dreams were nice for a change. Usually they are violent but last night they were rather peaceful. Oh yeah Alyssa is taking coffee orders if you want."
Ekaterina elegantly smiled as she elegantly asked Alyssa, "If it's not too late can I get a large Mocha Latte?" She smiled as she hoped Alyssa could add her request in the order.
Choi came into the meeting room. He was whistling and seemed to be in a happy mood.
“Good morning, all!” he loudly said, looking around the room. “I see we’re all here except for the rest of my team.”
Eun-Ji didn’t surprise him. Sung was usually punctual.
"Good morning, and certainly." Alyssa would put in the order after everyone arrived. She didn't comment about the dreams, what happened last night had been a nightmare but also not, besides she barely knew the Templars, certainly not enough to divulge that. She nodded at Choi, "Some of us are ordering coffee? Did you want anything?”
Yeong cocked his head toward Alyssa. “If it’s from the coffee shop we were at, no. However, if it was elsewhere, I’ll have a chai.”
He grinned, looking at Ekaterina. “Did everything go well at scanning the book?”
"No, a different coffee shop. Better one." Alyssa responded, now just to wait on the others
Choi gave his best try to jokingly show disbelief on his face. He raised his brows and replied, “Okay! I’ll trust you. When was the last time you heard a Dragon say that?”
He chuckled.
Ekaterina elegantly smiled at Choi as she replied, "Yes thank you for reminding me." Then Ekaterina pulled out two memory sticks and handed one to Alyssa and one to Choi. Then she replied, "Here are your copies of the book. Dahlia, did you still want to study the book?" Ekaterina elegantly smiled at Dahlia.
Alyssa smiled, with a slight laugh. "Never .... look out, I might just switch your tea with instant." Referring to a commercial that was older than the hacker herself and wondering if Choi would get it. How much time did he spend on YouTube looking up such stuff, anyway? "Thanks," she said as she retrieved the memory stick. "Hopefully, everyone got the email I sent.”
Dahlia shook her head in the affirmative. “There was something I felt in that room. I’d like to read through the book, look at any of the diagrams if there are any. There was something out there,” she pointed to imaginary stars. “It’s hard to explain. It was a definite presence.”
Choi shook his head. “Hopefully, a friendly one.”
Max nodded as he read it by the van but didn't really understand all of it. However he remained quiet so he would not look foolish in front of the others.
Ekaterina on the other hand checked her phone and looked like she missed it as she was reading it. She then replied, "Sorry I missed it. I had a crisis to deal with all morning.”
"It was sent less than an hour ago, I would have been more surprised if everyone had a chance to read it." Alyssa commented.
"There certainly was interesting stuff in there." said Sartre.
"Maybe, people could read it now while we wait on Sung and Eun-Ji." Alyssa suggested
