Another Door
JP with Redsword, Jaxx, Trustno1, mdman, Lorem and Cindy
Inside, the portal had collapsed into itself and disappeared a few inches from Alyssa's face.
"Blessed be," said Piper. "Our door is broken again.”
Outside; the other three would enter through the open doorway.
Sartre looked for Alyssa.
"Alyssa, I'll give you a second, then I'll need to talk to you." said Prue. Phoebe looked worried and headed towards the bedroom hallway.
The man in black called attention to himself.
You did a great job Agents and Ladies. It seems as if everything is not necessarily predestined. Whatever curse of the Warren family that Randolph Carter made worse by abandoning Harley Warren in the Florida swamp did not seem to be successful. Allow me to introduce myself. Inspector John Legrasse." He extended his hand to those in the room.
As soon as the portal left, Alyssa's mind came back from wherever it had gone. "I'm alright Max. Thanks." She just nodded at Phobe.
The woman got out of Max's grip, and went to the door. The memories that had flooded her were once again gone in an instant, leaving her confused but Alyssa always got through it.
'Swear, maybe I should change my name to Miss Fix-it.' Alyssa thought, then let her power piece the door back together. "Door's fixed." She called out.
John Lagasse, got it. She shook his hand, then asked Prue. "Sunroom?" The hacker was remarkably calm, considering what had just happened.
"Thank you." said Piper. She rushed to shake Alyssa's hand.
She would also shake the hands of the several men in the room as well as the other guests. Prue would do the same.
"Sunroom would be good." said Prudence. Looking at Alyssa with a knowing look.
Eun-Ji looked at the other versions of herself and the fact the situation was resolved before she was able to strike. Her incredulity produced an annoyed expression that was directed primarily at Master Sung. It felt like he was an elder that stepped in and did something that she wanted to do and was about to do. She quickly calmed herself and dropped the feeling of anger though. It was her fault for hesitating before the attack, she could not fault Sung for being decisive and precise.
“Well done.” She complimented Master Sung. Eun-Ji then dispersed her other version to return to other parts of the grounds and house while she waited for Master Sung.
Choi cocked his head and looked at Dahlia. “I owe you my thanks. That was awesome magic.”
Dahlia responded, “It wasn’t magic. It is the creative energy of the Kabbalah.”
Choi was also impressed with Eun-Ji taking action. "Great job, Moon!" Nodding his head up and down in an affirmative action, he grinned.
Agent Powers seemed relieved that Alyssa was safe now and hearing her words of thanks was comforting. He strayed alert as she fixed the door and talked with the others. He was concerned for Choi but since he got healed by Dalia he felt he didn't need to do or say anything. Then he looked at the others before he said, "Since we have more people here do we need more Starbucks?" Ekaterina stood up from her cover and replied, "Yes that would be lovely." She had a confused look on her face as she was also in the dark on to what just happened.
Eun-Ji turned her head in the direction of Choi’s praise. She could see him through the opened door, recently fixed, grinning like a little school child. She cocked her head in confusion. Her attempts had been futile and late, hardly deserving of any positive affirmation.
She called back, “Not good enough. How is your arm?”
Choi waved back with the once injured arm. “All better!” he proclaimed, “Thanks to a Templar. Who would have thought! I’m getting used to this,” he joked.
The expression she gave Choi would have been a good depiction of Mr. Spock from Star Trek when he didn’t get the humor.
Eun-Ji put her hammers away. They still had seen no action since her arrival. She took a deep breath and bowed to Master Sung before excusing herself to head back inside.
Choi met her at the door. He wanted to encourage her, felt he needed to solidify the partnership.
“Seriously,” he quietly spoke to Eun-Ji, “you did good. You sent your mirror images in and attacked. It’s something you haven’t shown me yet. Your time will come to finish off the bad guy, believe me.”
Dahlia went to Ekaterina. “You are well, Princess Kat?” She had worked with the Princess before and was comfortable calling her Kat.
Inspector Legrasse stood to leave the manor.
Ekaterina smiled at Dahlia and replied, "Thank you Dahlia. It appears we walked into a rather chaotic mission. Any idea what is going on?”
Eun-Ji sighed, he was incorrigibly optimistic. “I didn’t want to finish them. I wanted to incapacitate them and interrogate.” It was obvious that she felt like they had let an opportunity out of their grasp. She crossed her arms and looked him over. “I am glad your arm is ok.”
"Any questions?" asked Legrasse
Alyssa and Prue came back into the living room.
