The End Rite
Jp with Redsword, Jaxx, Trustno1, mdman, Lorem and Cindy
After being outside for a while, Alyssa and Choi returned to the house, bringing with them some one knew. She found everyone she could and said, "Everyone, this is Dahlia Ben-Aharom, Templar. She's joining our little dysfunctional pack." A slight pause. "Dahlia, this is Peter Satre, Max Powers and Sung Shun Shi."
Alyssa thanked Max and retrieved her laptop, then turned to Choi. "Feel free to fill her in. I'm going to check on the decoding.”
Agent Powers was not sure how to deal with a Templar so he kept it brief and gave her a smolder as he replied, "Hey." Then he got up and went back to sitting on the floor and played on his phone.
Giving a bow Sung smiled. " Templar I see you could have just come up to the front door instead of lurking outside," said Sung looking the Templar over. "Welcome, to our happy home," Sung said with a tint of sarcasm in his tone.
Dahlia looked at the muscular man smolder. It was impressive, but when he spoke and returned to a game, she wondered about his dependability in the field.
Returning a bow to Sung, she thought this was one with whom to be cautious. Anyone this old in this field must be good.
“I like to observe things before walking into something,” Dahlia spoke. Her Middle Eastern accent slipped through as she spoke.
Sartre, Dahlia thought she had known the name, but not connected with the Dragons or Illuminati. She tried to remember the source but couldn’t. She would need to check her database records to verify the man. He was connected somewhere else, much as she herself was.
A 2005 Toyota Camry, black, pulled up at the front of the Mansion. It had the telltale signs of a digital Uber sign behind the windshield. Eui-Ji elegantly stepped out of the vehicle and made her way to the front door. She knocked thrice. An observant person with a good memory would notice that when she knocked thrice yesterday, she used a different rhythm. To anyone else, she was just knocking.
Once the Uber pulled away, she manifested a duplicate and had it sit down on the bench on the front porch while she continued to stand patiently for someone to answer and let her in.
Sartre grabbed the door. "Hey there, Green Emerald. Welcome Miss Dahlia. We have a few hours before nightfall.”
Piper emerged from the back room saying, "Do you all still want to look at the End Rite before Phoebe gets back?”
Alyssa seemed to be engrossed in her work, but did hear Piper's question. "Yes, but the decoding is done I got the words Outlaws, A Cell and Elias 2025. They seem like modern references for a book written in the 1400s.”
Eun-Ji stood with a stoic expression at the sight of Sartre answering the door. She did not find his pet name for her amusing. She looked at her duplicate on the bench and it looked back with a mischievous grin mixed with an empathetic look, as if glad it wasn’t the one that had to enter the house and deal with certain individuals inside.
Eun-Ji responded, “Good morning sir.” She then entered and found her way to the room where she could see some familiares and welcomed faces. Seeing that people were engrossed in conversations and tasks, she didn’t interject herself and waited on the periphery to make sense of what they were going on about.
Not to sound like Prue, but you seem like a stressed hacker. You are referring to the "Testament of Saint Ede, not The End Rite." said Piper to Alyssa.
Alyssa just shrugged at the description of herself, not bothered in the least. "I wear the title "Stressed Hacker" proudly," She quipped. "And yes, The Testament is what I was decoding.”
"Would you all like to see if we can get anything out of the End Rite? I will grab Prue." Piper said.

Now Choi remembered what he had seen the only time he had gazed into that book. It was more detailed than anything Yeong had ever seen with his gift of visions. It was quite frightening to say the least.
He looked at Powers, then Alyssa, not sure if he would muster the courage to go through that one more time.
Finally, he stated, “If everyone else agrees, I will.”
The Templar look amused. “You almost seem afraid, Choi,” she teased. “I’m in!”
Choi looked at her. “If you had seen what we had the first time we looked, you might feel the same.”
"I'm for it." Sartre said.
"I will." Alyssa chimed in.
“Eun-Ji,” Choi humbly spoke, “would you please join us in looking? Maybe you have found some information in your research to interpret what we see.”
Eun-Ji wasn’t expecting her name to be called. She had already read through and taken notes on the entire Bible of Saint. Ede the Pious and had all the pages uploaded to the dragon archives to have other specialists look through its contents. She now had access to their findings, as would any dragon operative with access. Of course none of this had she shared with those present.
The other book she wasn’t familiar with and therefore she nodded yes to Choi. She would have preferred to investigate the book individually instead of by committee though.
Prue joined the group showing slight signs of being in a fight, slightly disheveled, but nothing like Phoebe.
"With the two of us, we can keep this thing under control and allow you to find some information." said Piper as the group ascended the stairs. The wood creaked beneath their feet.
"Who wants to be the one to open it?" asked Prudence.
"I'll open it," Alyssa stated. As already proven she was one to volunteer for such matters but also figured it was relatively safe with the sisters there.
