Looking for Pyramids

Choi returned, sitting upon a high-back chair. He figured that he’d listen to what Alyssa found out. After all, he had shared it with her. He scratched her back, now she could scratch his. Yeong wondered where that expression came from.

Sartre smiled at Alyssa's assertiveness. It rivaled Prue's.

Sung walked in and took a seat. He did look interested in what Alyssa might have to say or the information she had.

Once it seemed like everyone was in the room, Alyssa took a breath. While she was getting used to the people currently with her, she really didn't like speaking in front of groups. It was just the hacker covered it well.

" This is everything I was able to find out. Nyarlathotep: The Crawling Chaos is the messenger of the Great Old Ones, an emissary between humans and the Outer Gods. Some consider this thing to be a god itself. Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos, is notorious for having a thousand forms. Every one of these forms represents a different aspect of the god. As a result, each of his cults functions differently, often worshiping a different aspect to suit Nyarlathotep’s needs for that time and place. All are designed to cause chaos, evoke horror, and sow madness among mortal societies.

Nyarlathotep does not often have large or well-organized cults but instead instigates worship as needed for specific jobs or purposes. His devotees are mostly members of small organizations—witch covens, gangs of political dissidents, or outcast tribes—who have often been rejected by their neighbors.

Cultists of Nyarlathotep hope that, in gaining his approval, they will also curry favor with the Outer Gods he serves.”

Eun-Ji made her way up to the front door of the Halliwell Mansion. She turned and waved, signaling David that he didn’t have to stay anymore. He was a tad overprotective, but she could understand why.

She knocked three times and waited.

Alyssa sighed, "Enu-Ji?" Nothing supernatural about that, just an assumption by deduction. She looked at Choi and Sung, "One or both of you get to fill her in. If I had known she was coming I would have waited." The hacker had meant what she said.

"I'll get it. Need to stretch my legs anyway." Alyssa got up, went to the front door and answered it. Moving aside to let Eun-Ji in, out of the rain. "Everyone, well the team members, are in the living room. There's pizza in the sunroom if your hungry." Alyssa didn't want to waste time being rude but it had been on the tip of her tongue to say - nice of you to join us. The hacker then started walking towards the living room.

Eun-Ji paused as the small red head was the one that opened the door. Apparently her brethren were still hanging around with them, embarrassing day for the Dragons to say the least. Eun-Ji entered, giving Alyssa a slight bow before doing so. Once inside she shook the cold the rain brought with it off.

Eun-Ji took note of Alyssa’s comment and stood still as she watched the woman move on. She then calmly followed into the living room, her eyes scanning the place for Choi or Sung.

Meanwhile a version of her also moved to the sunroom and another had the more dutiful task of heading back outside and stood watch.

Choi stood and gave a slight bow to Eun-Ji. So what if she would rather work aside David than with him. She was still a Dragon and a human. He honored her with respect despite her not giving her and Sung the respect of letting them know what she was doing.

“I have asked Eun-Ji to bring the Bible of St. Edes. Thank you for responding so quickly.” Then with a raised brow, Yeong Inquired, “David isn’t joining us?”

Then Alyssa’s words hit Choi. “Nyarlethotep?” Choi inquired as he raised the other brow. “That sound Egyptian. Hence, the vision of worshippers in a pyramid. Is there anything near here that is in the form of a pyramid?”

"The Transamerica building is pyramid shaped. Its here, in San Fran." Alyssa had already sat back down and was on her computer as she spoke. "I don't know though that that word is Egyptian. It doesn't translate to anything in Egyptian.”

Alyssa showed a pic of the building to anyone who asks to see it.

The hacker read a little more, then added. "The observation deck, at the top, has been closed since 9/11.”
