Running from the law

Lydia quietly moved in between people, keeping her existence in the streets as unknown as possible. Despite keeping herself somewhat hidden, an officer grabbed her arm firmly, gripping it tight enough to yank her towards him; "Ms. Lydia, long time no see." The officer said with a sick grin. She'd met him before... a few months ago when she accidently brushed against him at a protest. He knew her sister was a mutant back then, as Cynthia had been on a wanted list for a long time, and he had tried to capture Lydia since he'd seen her at the protest - he planned to hold her hostage until Cynthia turned herself in.

Grinning, Lydia used the fact that he didn't know she was a mutant too, to her advantage. She placed both hands on his head, forcing him to see images from his past - his wife and children died to the hands of an insane mutant thirsty for power. He dropped her and she took the split second of freedom to run as fast as she could. She turned several corners in an attempt to lose the officer, but he stayed on her, following close behind. Eventually she came to a large wire fence. Her face twisted into a mischievous grin, knowing the officer was a heavier set man and probably couldn't scale the fence. With agility that could only be described as pure talent, she quickly climbed and hopped over the fence, rolling on the ground to break her fall. "Bye officer dickhead!" She yelled as she turned another corner and kept running.
