The Call Home

Police Station - Sheridan, Wyoming

John Wyndwood hung up his phone after speaking with Lydia. He had hoped for a miracle, for some way to free his son from the clutches of EAST. But as he looked at the imposing police station before him, he knew there was no way he could just walk in and demand Finlay's release. EAST had taken control, and they weren't an organization to be trifled with.

He decided to stay, to wait outside the station, hoping for any glimpse or news about his son. Every so often, he would check in with the front desk, only to be met with the same response: EAST was in charge now, and there was nothing local law enforcement could do.

Feeling helpless and anxious, John dialed his wife's number, his voice shaking as he explained the situation to her. He tried his best to console her over the phone, not noticing the presence of Lydia, who had shown up in disguise at the scene.
