Comfort With A Friend

Sophia looks up when she hears the rough movements of earth and is happy to see Perrine. He is the only one she can trust at the moment and it is like being with an old friend. This has much to do with his connection to animals, especially since Honey seems to find joy in his company. In fact, the wolf-dog's tail begins to wag pleasantly. The woman and unfamiliar man, however, elicit a low growl from her.

Making a quick clicking sound with her tongue, Sophia gets her companion to step down. The wolf-dog reluctantly does so, but stays in a position where she can act quickly. The thought of her white haired companion getting hurt greatly concerns the wolf, especially since she can smell bad intentions from that Malik man. At least Perrine is back, a great comfort in the canine's mind.

After getting Honey to stand down, Sophia takes in these new people. She does not notice anything bad about them, but that isn't enough to convince her to drop her guard. There are too many monsters in the world and she's unsure of who all can be trusted. Everyone assumed her father was a good man, but behind closed doors…

The memories of all he did to her still haunt her dreams and nightmares. The scars on her body are a testament to her survival, though.

With one last cautious glance at Malik, Sophia finally speaks. "Who are they?" She is obviously referring to the man and woman that came back with him.
