Too Much Waiting!

Khun nods at Lydia and, once the girl is back in bed, she starts up a new IV and takes her vitals before going to check on Finlay. The boy is still stable, but she worries there may be more to this than what they can see. He was in bad shape and will take time to regain his health and strength, but she knows he will be fine. She’s seen people survive far worse.

After getting Finlay’s vitals again, she goes to find a place to sit and wait for the others. It is not as if she knows the place, so it is best to stay in the only familiar area she’s aware of.

Sophia watches Perrine, listening carefully to his words so that she can understand. The man must be crazy if he believes she’ll just sit down and wait.

After drinking her water, she steps out and begins to help the man with unloading his things. For each items, she points at it to make sure it is something he wants unloaded before she actually gets it. For such a small woman, she is strong and able bodied, obvious signs of her life in the wild. It takes time and patience, but she eventually helps him get everything and looks to Honey. “Lazy,” She chides the wolf, but there is a hint of amusement in her tone.

Honey tilts her head and her tail wagged.

“Yes, yes, you’ve done your job.” The white haired woman laughs softly and brushes her fingers through the wolf-dog’s fur. “You always do an amazing job, my friend.”

Looking at Perrine, she forces a sort of smile. “So, I guess we’re stuck waiting, eh?” She asks.
