Motivations

Alessia is the sitting regent during the transition of power from her father to her sister. She had never had any ambitions of power or meddled in politics but is starting to come into her own as a major influencer in the Aurus System. Her confidence and comfort in the position are starting to be more and more evident. Though her powers are limited in comparison to a permanent ruler, the strides she has made both domestically and with foreign diplomatic relations in the short period of time she has held the office serve to show the strength of character that her house has passed down through their 5 generations of ruling. Some speculate that she may not wish to pass the mantle and attempt to maneuver into the position of Queen for herself...
