Cheyenne is a mostly historically accurate game that will play like an old western. There's the main cast, the townsfolk, and the events of their lives will make up the backdrop of the game. Then you have the out of towners and outlaws, who will come in and shake things up from time to time. Supernatural creatures exist in this game, but they (mostly) remain hidden, their true natures unexposed. Some townsfolk are aware of the supernatural. Some are part of it. But nobody really talks about it, understand?

You can be human, a ghost (telekinetic, which gets stronger when you're angry, but you're weak to salt and silver), a vampire (though you'll be weaker than a human in the sunlight, and vulnerable to fire, stakes, and holy symbols), a werecreature (you only turn on the days of a full moon, and watch out for silver), or another creature you make a compelling argument to be. Just make sure you're compatible with the setting--i.e., I don't suggest being a mermaid, there just isn't enough water, you see.
