Physical Appearance

Ed is a tall man, whose build is lean and muscled. He has blonde hair, blue eyes, and a deep tan from years of labor outside. Ed has a pair of puckered scratches scarred into the outside of his left leg, from a werewolf clawing him while he was riding one night.

Personality and interests

Ed is a very grave man, who is known to be sarcastic on occasion. He takes his job (and himself) very seriously. He enjoys horseback riding and shooting, which makes him a good fit for his job.

History

Ed was born and raised in Texas. He grew up with the dream of being a cowboy, but was too poor to afford a horse. When he was 14, he joined up with a cattle drive outfit and finally got to be a cowboy. It wasn't everything he dreamed; as the youngest, newest member, Ed was teased, looked down on, and relatively tormented. It wasn't until he saved the life of the boss that he finally got some respect.

Ed joined up with many cattle drives through the years, before he finally settled down as sheriff in a town called Tippeyville. He did well, but eventually his love for travel kicked in and he joined up as a Texas Ranger when he was 23. Ed remained as a Texas Ranger for ten years, before he retired. He headed up to settle in Wyoming, where the west was still very wild, and ended up running for marshal of Cheyenne.
