Norman would ultimately spend the remainder of the day pondering his conversation with the mysteriously dissapearing man at the bar. Of it here were only two things he was sure of. Firstly, 'twas no drunken hallucination. He'd had enough of those to know. Secondly, 'twas important somehow. But 'twhat- I mean, what was he to do now?
He shook his head in an effort to clear it, but only succeeded in sending his pointy red hat flying. Naturally a gust of wind caught it and carried it all the way down road. Or course, he went chasing after it.
Why, oh why the life of an adventurer? It was a question he'd asked himself many times. Eventually, he caught up to the errant hat and dove to recapture it.
"Stupid hat," he grumbled, shoving it forcefully back onto his head where it belonged.
Only just now did he give thought to his surroundings and notice that despite the late hour of the day, he was not alone. In fact, he'd literally bumped right into someone. Right in front of him stood a petite elven woman with long snow-white hair and the most gorgeous blue eyes...
Goodness, she was beautiful. Shit! He was staring, wasn't he? Was he drooling, too? Thankfully not. Though, it probably wasn't far off. He'd always had a thing for elves, after all.
"Eh... Good day, milady," he stuttered.
