Dark History - Tzeitel's Repellent Pheromones
Seven years before Tzeitel’s escape from MegaCorp (About twelve years ago)
***
Screaming woke Tzeitel in her cell. She had no burns on her neck, yet, though the collar was already a heavy weight. Acne marred her face.
Tzeitel jumped out of bed and paced by her door, fidgeting with her collar anxiously. She knew what was happening but could do nothing about it. It seemed to be going on for a long time. She heard this happening every night but she never got used to it. The screams were turning weaker.
She heard boots approaching her cell door. Like the child she was, she tried to hide under the cot. The door opened, Tzeitel looked back and saw two MegaCorps soldiers leering at her. One had black hair and thick black facial hair that was filthy with food and grease. The other had a stubbly beard, brown hair and a healing bite on his left cheek.
Tzeitel was terrified. The bitten one walked into her cell, grabbed her by the ankles and pulled her out from under the cot. Tzeitel blasted fear pheromones so he let her go and began to leave, but his greasy-bearded companion stopped him.
“It’s just pheromones. Hit her until she stops.”
Tzeitel realized that the fear pheromones alone would not be enough. Thinking fast she tried something else, a combination of repellent pheromones with a little nauseating pheromones blended in. <I’m disgusting. You don’t want to touch me.>
It worked. The men’s faces filled with disgust, the bitten one looked like he wanted to throw up. They stepped out of her cell.
“Ugh, don’t bother with her. Let’s just take a turn with the other one. That dog bitch.” The cell door was closed and locked. They walked away.
The weak screams had been reduced to quiet weeping. Tzeitel sat on the floor, unable to do anything when the weeping turned to screaming again. “Please, not again!”
Tzeitel felt sick with guilt, realizing where those two men had gone. She got into bed and pressed her pillow to her ears trying to block out the sound. It was a long night but no other MegaCorp soldiers tried to go into her cell that night. From that night forward Tzeitel would give off low doses of this blend of pheromones whenever she was around the MegaCorp soldiers, keeping herself safe from them.
But she felt like she had sent those two soldiers into the other girl’s cell that night and would always feel a sense of guilt for it.
