JP - Something for Cody for his Mother
“Frisk!” Tzeitel cheered up when she saw the medic come into the cabin.
Frisk smiled and hugged her. “How are you doing?”
“I’m fine.” Tzeitel lied.
“You feel shaky and smell like vomit.” Frisk was not letting Tzeitel just lie.
Tzeitel closed her eyes. “Canestone, he’s back, cloned.” She said in a small voice.
“I heard about that.” Frisk said. “We know so little so far, but maybe it’s not as bad as it sounds. It’s a clone, not Canestone himself. Maybe he will be easier to defeat this time… Whatever the case is he is not ever going to hurt you again. You have friends now, they will protect you. You are safe. You are stronger than you were back then too, you’re able to do things with your powers now that this clone does not know about. You will be okay.”
“I’m scared.” Tzeitel admitted.
“I know.” Frisk hugged her again. “Stay close to your kids and friends, talk to Leimomi.”
“I tried, I got her voicemail when I called and she hasn’t-” Tzeitel trailed off when he phone buzzed. She pulled it from her pocket, “It’s Leimomi.”
“Take the call.” Frisk smiled. “I’m gonna see Cody really quick before I go. We’ll catch up after the jailbreak, okay?”
Tzeitel nodded, “He’s upstairs, I think the second door on the right.” She directed, then answered her phone, stepping into an empty room.
Frisk bounded up the stairs.

“Cody?” Ami called her brother.
Cody was sitting in the room he would be staying in, looking through one of the medical books and taking notes. “Yes, Ami?” He called back without looking up.
“I think Tzeitel repelled me.” Ami frowned, recalling the irresistible urge to leave the kitchen earlier.
“She’s probably upset about this whole Canestone situation…” Cody said as he bookmarked the text and looked at her. “It’s not anything to do with you. She’s always had this…underlying issue when it comes to that guy. He’s a sick-o…” He looked at her and offered the chair next to his at the desk.
Ami sat down. “He hurt her…” Ami said in a soft voice.
“Yes, in a very bad way,” Cody replied as he watched Ami “That’s why we have to work to keep her safe.”
“Why did he do it?” Ami asked, her eyes filling with tears again.
Frisk knocked on the door.
“Because some people are evil, Ami. Some people enjoy hurting others.” Cody said as he got up and opened the door. “Hm? Frisk?!”
Ami’s face lit up when she saw Frisk and she ran over to hug the medic. Frisk could help Tzeitel, she could fix this.
“Ami! You have gotten so tall!” Frisk exclaimed and smiled at Cody. “Hi Cody.”
“Hey, Aunt Frisk,” Cody said with a kind smile. “It’s been a long time…”
“Too long.” Frisk hugged Cody. “I’m afraid I don't have much time. I brought you this for your mother… I hope you don’t have to use it.” Frisk took a smaller pack from her medbag and handed it to Cody. It contained syringes of tranquilizers, as well as a bottle of sedatives in pill form. “She doesn’t need it now, but she is really upset with Canestone being back and had already been struggling before this news.”
“I understand,” Cody said with a grimace as he hid the items away under his bed. “I just hope I don’t have to use them.”
“I do too. She was talking to Leimomi when I left her, so at least she is taking care of herself now instead of…” Drinking. Working out until she collapsed. Denying. Frisk knew Cody had probably seen a lot over the past five years. “Between you, Klaire and the others you all should be able to keep her out of trouble until I get back.”
“That’s easier said than done, to be honest.” Cody admitted and sighed heavily, sitting on his bed. “We already had a mishap at the last hotel we stayed in and now, with this whole Canestone thing…She’s not taking it well at all…”
“I know, she was shaky and had been throwing up.” Frisk said. “Hopefully this is only a temporary setback, she is much stronger than she was years ago. Now I better go.”
Once Frisk left, Ami burst into tears.
