JP - No such thing as Overkill
“Fuck no!” Riven yelled. “Squish it or….or something!” He kept sending ice at the bear-thing, growling loudly. Abraham, standing next to them, was shooting every bullet he had into the thing.
Fang sighed and focused on the creature. The harder he focused, the more painful it felt for him. His nose bled a bit as he started to press gravity down on the creature, making it heavier and heavier and heavier…
Lyle reached into his backpack and pulled out a large satchel and remote. Throwing the satchel it landed underneath the creature "cover your ears" he shouted before detonating it.
Fang blinked. “SERIOUSLY, OLD MAN?!” He released his gravity to cover his ears. Lola did the same and closed her eyes out of fear.
Riven had to use ice to protect his wolf ears while Ambraham merely acted as if it was not a noise at all.
Anna cringed as she covered her ears.
The creature, though, was no more…
"First thing I learned in the army was there's no such thing as overkill," Lyle chuckled.
“Who are you? Burt Gummer from that Tremors movie series?” Fang asked.
"Well it worked didn't it?" Lyle chuckled "come on let's keep moving shouldn't be too far from the road we can hit a ride."
“I would like to stop walking for a bit,” Anna said, pulling her hood up and hiding her tail.
Fang pulled on a hat to hide his ears and helped Lola get the hood of her jacket up to hide her horns. “There,” He said with a shrug.
Lyle flag down a truck after talking exchanging some bills the group found themselves a ride to the cabin.
“If we die some horrible death, I’m blaming you.” Anna said as they made their way to the cabin.
Lyle leaned over and kissed her "awww kitty cat don't you trust me?"
“It’s not you I don’t trust,” She said, shoving him away, eyes watching the driver carefully.
A couple of hours later the drive would drop them off at the cabin unharmed.
