JP - Don't overdo it

Colt took Piritta’s phone right out of her hands. “I need to make a call. Send meme’s later.”

“Hei!” Piritta complained. The meme involved a bacon sandwich. The texting was getting pretty serious.

"Should I prepare bail money or pay off a disposal team?" Riley asked.

“Bacon sandwich?” Colt asked and shook his head before making his call. There was a lot of muttering and then some yelling in Finnish before he hung up and handed Piritta back the phone. “Dick sucker…I’m gonna head East in my mustang. I’ve got karma to cause to a fucker…”

“Is it me or has he started to cuss a lot more…?” River asked.

"Just Fill one of us in on what's going on in case it goes sideways" Riley called after him before turning to River "he has done that lately."

“Swear jar!” Ami called after Colt.

Colt tossed a twenty dollar bill into the jar. “Already on it, Ami! Tell your ghost friends to stop stealing my clothes!”

“I don’t have ghost friends!” Ami objected.

Piritta scowled at Colt and resumed sending memes.

River just stared at Piritta, then Ami, and finally Riley. She had no clue how to react at the moment.

“Are you going to tell Tzeitel I used my powers on this?” Ami asked, pulling the directory from the drawer.

"You know your sister's just worried about you" Riley replied in a gentle tone "every power has a drawback to use in it we just haven't figured out yours yet, so just be patient with your sister I'll try to talk to her to see if we can get her to let you practice your powers a bit more." Moving to River he kissed her cheek to calm her down. "I can follow Colt if you want me to just so we know he doesn't get himself into trouble He can't handle."

“Tzeitel overdid it with her own powers and drained them, didn’t she?” Ami asked.

"Yes but that's a conversation you're going to have to have with her when she's ready" Riley sighed. He had read Tzeitel years ago when they had become closer. Needless to say Riley had been really tempted to go back and time and rewrite history. "But for now I can tell you my own personal experience when it comes to overusing my powers. My speed relies on burning calories and other fats from my body in order to maintain it hence why I eat a lot. When I first unlocked my powers I didn't know about that drawback and I was a pretty skinny kid so I went from looking healthy to like I haven't eaten in months when I first used my powers winded up in the hospital for a bit."

“Oh… Maybe my power is like the twins’ with their heightened senses. It doesn’t cost them anything to be able to hear and smell and all that other stuff better than anyone else… I just draw information from stuff. The Ouija board was kind of creepy when I talked to that dead guy but it didn’t hurt me.” Ami fidgeted with the tiny Monopoly house, similar to how Tzeitel fidgeted with bottles of calming pollen. “What I’ve gotten out of maps was harmless and useful… Books too.”

“Joo.” Piritta agreed absently, still sending memes. Her phone dinged with an incoming text and Piritta seemed to perk up reading it. She stood up and headed for the door. “Nähdään myöhemmin.”

"So when do you think we're going to meet her mystery boyfriend?" Riley asked River with a grin "wonder if she's heading for a meet up."

“He’s still back in New York.” Ami said innocently, not revealing how she knew that but they could guess her power was involved. She wondered what was taking Tzeitel so long in the gym, Klaire had already been up to get her own kids and left a while ago. Klaire had looked annoyed. Ami sighed. Tzeitel was probably working out too much and hurting herself, or drinking.

"Your sister's up in Klaire's room talking to her Alex texted me once they were done working out" Riley replied giving Ami a smile.

“Is she okay?” Ami asked, pretty sure Tzeitel either overdid it or drank.

"Yeah she just locked herself out of the room so she went to Klaire's room to shower "Riley explained "she's been helping at Alex deal with some of his anger issues lately."

“Did she lose her key because she got drunk?” Ami asked.

"No she accidentally kicked it under the door when it fell out of her pocket" Riley chuckled "just simple case of being clumsy."

Ami raised an eyebrow. “Clumsy because she worked out in the gym until her muscles stopped working?”

Riley sighed "what would it take to change the subject?"

Ami shrugged. “Why does she do that to herself?”
