JP - Cody's First Blood

Ei and Bella would still need waiting. "Are you done?" She asked. "I wish to return home…"

Bella looked at Klaire and James with silent worry and sadness.

Clonestone had his captives collared, bound and gagged before throwing them in the back of the truck. "I'm gonna make them tell me how to get Tzeitel."

"I have never met Tzeitel, but is that her?" Ei asked as cars sped toward them.

Anna slammed into Clonestone, pressing her hands to his face and pulsing her power to rot his hardening skin. "Let them go!"

"That's not- what the fuck?" Clonestone shoved Anna away from himself, his skin flashing to normal for a second before hardening again.

Ei frowned and pulled out a revolver. The moment Anna was shoved away, she took a shot, hitting the cat woman's leg. She let out a scream so the white haired girl took another shot and hit Anna's shoulder. "Stay out of our way."

"Can you drive?" Clonestone asked Ei, jumping in the truck bed and checking Klaire and James for cell phones and any other devices that could track them.

He would find Klaire's cell phone with the missed calls from Frisk.

"Yes," Ei got into the driver's seat, silently disgusted that she had to sit where Clonestone had.

Clonestone tossed Klaire's cell after putting Frisk's number on his arm. He got to work on preparing his captives for when they woke up. He didn't want any clothes getting in the way. "Do that scent thing and take us where we won't be interrupted."

Lyle struggled to fight against the tranquilizer reaching into his pocket he pulled a small case containing a syringe. Grabbing it he injected the adrenaline into his neck. It was providing him enough energy to stand but not for long. Grabbing a hunting rifle off the mantle off the wall before loading an odd looking bullet and firing at a section on the truck. Grabbing his phone he texted Alex a message before collapsing.

Bella blinked as she sat in the front yard of the cabin, forgotten.

Ei rolled her eyes and merely began driving. Her power had already done the work for them. What she did not expect was the man that ran out in front of the truck. A part of her wanted to stop, but this was her mission and Thrane had given it to her, so she pressed harder on the gas.

Only, Cody didn’t hesitate. He shot right at Ei. It went through the window and slammed into her forehead, causing her to go very still as the truck swerved.

"What the hell are you doing?" Clonestone tossed a pair of underwear aside and looked into the cab. He saw that the smeared windshield had a hole in it with a lot of cracks. "Shit!" Clonestone pried open the small back window and squirmed in like an eel. He dragged Ei out of the driver's seat and slipped in behind the wheel. He floored the gas. "Where's Bella? Bella!"

Cody, thankfully, got out of the way and took another shot at the tires, blowing at least one of them out. “You monsters aren’t taking our family!” He yelled.

Clonestone swore, tearing away on three tires.

Cody kept shooting until all he was getting was constant clicks, tears starting to fall down his face. He hadn’t been able to stop it. He had not been able to save Klaire and James. Anger mixed with the tears and he threw the gun down. It smacked against the ground and clattered away. “FUCK!” He yelled.

"Swear jar" Lyle groaned limping out of the cabin holding his hand out he offered the boy a cell phone "shot a tracker on the truck."

Cody took the phone just as Ami and the twins ran up. He ignored the swear jar comment for now and typed away on it, determined to find out where Clonestone was going.

Lyle tossed him his keys "guns are stashed in the trunk of my car where the spare tire should be." Seeing Anna he limped to her to check her.

Cody nodded and went to Lyle’s car, rushing after Clonestone’s truck.

"Cody! Where's Klaire and James?" Ami asked, running after her brother. She was alarmed by the blood on Anna.

Annie grabbed Ami so she wouldn’t get run over when Cody rushed away. “Lyle, Anna needs medical attention!” She yelled and dug through her pockets.

"Cody!" Ami struggled to break free of Annie. In the panic of the moment she activated her powers on Annie.

She would see many things from Annie’s life - her growing up being trained by her father to her power manifesting and Ami would even be able to hear the voice of her rock that she always carried around…
