Riley nodded before climbing back into the van "do you want to talk about it?"

“I’m scared someone is going to actually hit me one day…” Anastasia finally said. “I don’t know what to do.”

"How about I teach you to defend yourself" Riley replied "I did the same with Susi after rescuing her from Canestone."

“Y-you sure I should learn? What if they all just think I’m learning so I can hurt them?” She worried at her bottom lip, practically being swallowed by his hoodie due to how small she was.

"Even if it takes them a bit to warm up to you, you're still one of us and should learn in case of emergencies" Riley replied.

Anastasia nodded slowly. “O-okay…” Hesitantly, she got up and started to climb out of the van. “W-will you want anyone to help you with this Esther girl you and Klaire were talking about?”

"You're more than welcome to join me just know the hellscape can be dangerous" Riley Warned.

“What’s the Hellscape?” Anastasia asked.

"An alternate dimension" Riley explained "my daughter Esther has control over it after her heart was broken she retreated into there. Without her assistance I've had to experiment in finding the right frequency to enter it."

“I hope you can find her…she must be lonely.” Anastasia said.

"I will no matter what it takes after all what kind of father would i be if I didn't try?" Riley replied.

Anastasia nodded and started to head inside with Riley.
