JP - Megan's Silence

Joel soon pulled up the underground where just like Riley promised a medical team was waiting for them.

By the time they arrived, Anastasia had gotten most of the blood off and climbed out. “H-he needs a blood transfusion…”

Piritta helped the med team get Olle out of the van. “Take good care of him.”

The doctors nodded and wheeled him inside towards the medical wing.

Standing there and not knowing what to do, Anastasia pulled the hood of Riley’s hoodie up and hid her face the best she could with her hair.

Riley reached over and took her hand “come on there’s a place we can rest at.”

“But…” Anastasia started, watching the doctor take Olle away. “Will he be okay? Did I help…?”

“He fucking better be okay.” Piritta muttered. A few metas who had not seen Piritta before were gawking at her shirtlessness and the blood.

“You did good” Riley told her a smile on his face, moving towards Piritta he wrapped an arm around her “come on let’s get you a shower.”

“Joo.” Piritta sighed, glancing towards the med ward. She was not a healer, there was nothing more she could do for Olle.

Anastasia let Riley lead Piritta away and chose to wait outside the medical ward so if Olle woke up, she could let them know…if she could find them afterwards.

Riley led Piritta to a private room where she could shower. While she was in the shower he found her a change of clothes before heading back to find Anastasia.

Piritta showered quickly. She saw the change of clothes, but only put on the underwear and boots before venturing off to find Riley again.

Anastasia was keeping her face well hidden, watching people walk by her and others going into the medical ward to help patients. She was unsure of what to do at the moment and looked up when Riley returned, Piritta close behind.

Riley looked over his shoulder and sighed “why am I not surprised.” Shaking his head he approached Anastasia “you alright?”

“Hei, people are going to want to lynch her.” Piritta warned Riley, questioning Anastasia’s sense of self preservation to even come in here.

Anastasia nodded. “I’ve been listening in…they’re doing all they can for him.” She explained. “Everyone seems to not notice me, at least…for now.”

“They’d have to go through me and Mark’s the only Meta that would have a shot and he’s on my side” Riley replied although he did give Anastasia a medical mask to wear so her face was covered.

“He still hasn’t woken up?” Piritta asked.

Ryan would be seen rolling out of a doctors room with Megan from his check up and spot them. “Everything alright?” he asked.

Anastasia shook her head. “I haven’t heard them mention it…” She said and looked at Ryan and Megan.

The cat-eared woman looked toward Anastasia. “Who’s this?” She asked. “The…uh…girl? From the road?”

Riley approached Megan whispering to her everything that had happen to Anastasia up to this date. Before doing the same to Ryan.

Ryan smiled towards Anastasia “hello there I’m Ryan it’s nice to meet you.”

“Hei Megan!” Piritta greeted the cat girl. “Vietteletkö Rileyn pahan kaksosen?”

“H-hi…I’m Anastasia…” She replied and twiddled her thumbs.

Megan looked over at the woman and sniffed toward her. “Hmmm.”

“I brought her here to have Frisk or someone look her over see if Thrane did any other damage” Riley replied.

“um…..I’m not evil” Ryan replied to Piritta.

“Mutta hän viettelee sinua, vai mitä?” Piritta asked Ryan, noticing Megan’s lack of a response and thought the silence spoke volumes.

“I don’t seduce people, Piritta!” Megan blurted. “And he’s not evil!”

Ryan blushed “I did ask her out but we’re taking it slow.”

Piritta bent down to fix the laces on her boots and spoke in a voice too low for anyone but Megan to hear. “Olen iloinen, että saatat haluta vietellä jonkun uudelleen… Mutta jos hän satuttaa sinua, puukon häntä penikseen. Olet ystäväni.”

“Let's avoid doing that!” Megan squeaked and quickly rolled away with Ryan.

“Your friend seems nice” Ryan spoked as they rolled along the hallway “does she always walk around like that?”

“Yeah, she’s known for doing that.” Megan replied.

“I’m glad she’s looking out for you though” Ryan replied with a smile.
