JP - Five Years Ago - Betrayed - VC pt 3

As Frisk went looking for wounded, Piritta drunkenly staggered wherever there was a kusipää to stab in the dick with her birch handled knife. Whatever Cain had smeared on her was still having an effect on her, but Piritta was strong and pissed off.

A gunshot rang out as Klaire shot a man in the head that was trying to sneak up on Piritta. “James says we were betrayed! Who would betray us?!” She asked over the chaos, her kids staying close. She and both of them were coated in blood that was not their own…

"Cain!" Piritta snarled. "He drugged me and stole the kids. Where are the other assholes he's always around?"

“V died protecting me and the kids, but I had to kill Mal…” Klaire admitted, a sad expression on her face. “I don’t get it. Why would he and Cain do this?” She suddenly raised her rifle and shot another soldier before they could get close. “Damn it! I understand Thrane attacking, but this betrayal…ugh! I hope Tzeitel can make that bastard kill himself!”

Lotus and Leon just growled, strapped onto Klaire since they were still babies.

Piritta stood behind Klaire to protect her back and her babies. "They're complete assholes. Both of them had been quietly bullying Tzeitel every chance they got like it was a game. That bitch James hangs around too, and those obnoxious twins… I hope the kids are okay." Piritta felt terrible for failing to protect them.

Klaire could hear the guilt in Piritta’s tone. “Don’t blame yourself, Piritta.” She said as they slowly made their way to the main house in order to help get more people to safety. “Tzeitel warned us but we didn’t listen. I should have listened. V was even shocked…”

James threw a shield of fire at one side of them, knocking away some hive monsters that had been running around. “You two okay?!” He asked, cursing under his breath at all the chaos.

"She warned us about James too- should I stab him?" Piritta asked.

"Now is not the time for jokes" Riley panted covered in blood and injuries.

“Hey!” James blurted, keeping distance between him and Piritta as he tossed a bag to Riley. “Protein bars! Eat up!”

Riley nodded and proceeded to eat before grabbing up a syringe to inject himself.

"Hei, no fair, you've cracked jokes at worse times than me." Piritta raised an eyebrow at the syringe.

"Is anyone hurt?" Frisk asked, her rolled up sleeves stained with blood.

"I'll live just need a breather" Riley said tossing the syringe "I'm heading to join Tzeitel, y'all meet up with River."

After Riley left Alex would show up carrying an injured Joel.
