Klaire was honestly fine, her temperature normal. Snorting, she pinched Tzeitel’s ear. “Calm down, you smeg head.” She said with a chuckle. “Or I’ll have the twins pounce on you.”

Leon and Lotus were instantly alert at the prospect of mischief. Even Amber’s eyes lit up at this.

“Ouch- hey!” Tzeitel winced, her back bending so Klaire would not pull on her ear.

Ami laughed.

Piritta sent a 10th Kingdom meme of Wolf tracking Virginia through time itself to whoever she was texting.

Klaire grinned and laughed. “Calm down, Tzeitel. I’ll be fine.”

Though, Tzeitel might not be so fine with three children creeping up on her to tickle her.

Megan poked her head into the room and sat next to Piritta, looking repulsed. Colt has gone outside with his food and Iram was sleeping in the van, so Joel and Annie had begun doing things. She really didn’t want to hear it, so she had come into this room. Even James was outside now, smoking. Again.

“I remember a time when you wouldn’t leave a piece of beef uneaten.” Tzeitel frowned when she noticed Megan’s face when she came into the room. “What’s wrong?”

Ami finished her game of solitaire- won it, of course- and was looking through the drawers in the room for something to do.

Riley waved at Megan gesturing for her to join them.

There was a loud yowling moan from the room next door and Megan banged on the wall. “SHUT UP, ANNIE!” She screamed.

“I think that answers your question, Tzeitel.” Klaire chuckled. “And I would eat if I wasn’t so full already.”

“Its always the quiet ones” Riley chuckled, giving a wink to River.

“Oh.” Tzeitel blushed and unmuted the TV. Her anti-meta uncle was still talking so she put it on the Weather Channel and turned up the volume.

Amis found a booklet of local restaurants and other local places, she flipped through it, absorbing the information with her powers before Tzeitel could catch her at it. It had taken a while to figure out exactly what her power was, but she had gotten the hang of it and liked using it every chance she got. Of course Tzeitel worried, she always worried where her kids’ powers were coming from and what it could be taking from them. But Ami saw no downside to her power, except for it ruining the ending to a lot of books.

Riley moved to the window, peeking outside to check on Alex. He hated seeing his cousin go through this, he remembered nearly going insane when River had been kidnapped by Loreen for a couple of weeks. He couldn't imagine suffering like that for five years.

Klaire stepped over to the window and looked outside as well. “We’ll find them, Riley…” She told him. “We’re too stubborn to give up.”

Amber, Leon, and Lotus went over to Ami and just enjoyed being around her while she looked over things.

"I know I'm just worried about him" Riley replied pulling Klaire into a hug "we've already lost so much over these five years I don't want to lose anyone else."

After Ami absorbed the directory she dropped it back in the drawer. She smiled at the twins.

Tzeitel walked over to the window. “What’s going on out there?” She asked, already worried for Cody.

"Looks like Cody finally got Alex to open up about Susi" Riley answered.

Tzeitel smiled sadly, but with a fair bit of pride. She loved Cody like a son still. “Cody is a good person to talk to about things like that… I hope we find Susi soon.”

Riley turned to Tzeitel a serious look on his face "I know we will but if we find her in the worst case scenario has happened promise me you'll help restrain Alex" he spoke in a tired tone "I don't want him to go through the same thing Lyle did when he found Juliet."

Tzeitel nodded to the glands on her arms. “I’ll knock him out if I have to.” The pheromones oils were impossible to resist when absorbed through the skin. “But I hope… Susi had already been through so much and escaped MegaCorp.” Tzeitel hated that any of them could end up captive again.

"Lyle's looking for her now if anyone can find her it's him" Riley replied He hoped to the former soldier was doing better. Juliet's death had changed him. He remembered the last time he looked into his eye it was like the life had left him. He was just a walking corpse waiting to die.

“I know…” Tzeitel said. “MegaCorp wants Susi alive, whatever terrible things they’re doing to her she’s alive if they can help it.”

Riley nodded as he continued to look out over Alex for a bit longer before closing the blinds and sitting down on the bed.

Tzeitel scowled at the wall they shared with Joel and Annie. “I think I’m going to hit the gym for some quiet. Does anyone else want to come?”

Megan instantly raised her hand. “I’ll come along!” She blurted.

“Riley, can you watch the kids?” Klaire asked. “You and River, I mean? I’d like to hit the gym too. I need to get out some of my excess energy.”

Tzeitel grabbed some sweat pants from her bag and went to the bathroom to get changed out of her jeans. She still had a habit of overdoing her workouts sometimes so it was good to have friends with her.

"Sure thing" Riley replied with a smile on his face " just be careful."

“Thanks Riley.” Tzeitle said, now in workout clothes as she tied her sneakers. “Ami has gotten kind of sneaky about using her powers lately…”

Ami scowled.

"Already hid the erotic novels" Riley replied while drinking some water as he put a movie on for the kids.

Tzeitel had been more worried about what using her powers was doing to Ami, but there was something else to be concerned about now.

Klaire left the room to go to her own where she changed into some gym pants and tank top, soon meeting Tzeitel out in the hallway. Megan opted to just use her underwear as gym clothes because she was NOT going into that room while Annie and Joel fucked. It was obvious the cat woman was upset and angry about what had happened five years ago. Everything she had built was taken away and destroyed because the man she THOUGHT she loved had betrayed her for his hive…

If not for Tzeitel, Megan was sure she would be dead.
