JP - Tension in the Air

"We got everyone out except Evie turns out they put her in a different facility and we're just using this one as a red herring" Lyle replied "Haven and Yule , Gelf's' sister, are pregnant but Haven suffered a miscarriage. Ryan is clearly malnourished but is making a good comeback and Susi well it's obvious what her and Alex are probably doing. Lastly we rescued a new girl bumble she's a bee girl who can control bees."

“Haven was- oh.” Of course those MegaCorp bastards would suppress Haven’s powers. “Poor Have and Yule…” Tzeitel knew where their pregnancies came from. “Ryan looked so much like Riley, does he sound like him too?” Tzeitel blushed slightly. “Is Susi okay?” Tzeitel knew how Susi had been used by MegaCorp before, even before giving her to Canestone.

Ami blinked back tears and moved her chair a little closer to Cody.

"Susi has been kept in solitary since her capture when she killed several guards I'm more worried about Alex she has five years of repressed heat to vent" Lyle replied "As for Ryan he does look and sound just like Riley but that's twins for you. He's recovering though Juno did knock him out."

Annie tossed a pancakes at Lyle. “How would you respond if Anna denied you for five years straight? Hmmm?”

"Ask Abe and Riven how much sleep they got when Anna and I first had sex" Lyle chuckled in response.

Cody looked at Ami and rubbed her shoulder in an attempt to help her calm down. He didn’t know what to do anymore, just that he wished he could help.

Joel looked over to Lyle "so are you going to head to the underground today with Riley?"

Lyle nodded "Yeah figured I'd check on Haven and Yule plus see if Anna wants to see the doctors." Turning to Tzeitel he continued "you should come with us I'm sure Haven would be glad to see you plus Riley seems nervous about meeting his brother."

“Isn’t Megan there, too?” Annie asked.

Anna walked in and nodded. “Yes, she went with them, but didn’t come back, so I assume so, sister.” She said, fully hidden beneath her cloak again.

"Pretty obvious to see why she stayed" Lyle chuckled before walking over and kissing Anna on the cheek.

Tzeitel was going to scold them for talking so much about sex in front of her little sister, but she noticed Ami’s tears and Cody’s helplessness in trying to comfort her. She slumped. “I hardly knew Haven… but I’ll go. I need to see Frisk and Leimomi… Klaire wants me to see that Underground tattooist too.”

“Seele,” Annie answered. “She’s a good person.” She made sure the stove and everything was off for safety measures. “She’s been with the Meta Underground a long time…most of her life, actually.”

Anna snorted and leaned against Lyle.

Cody looked at Ami. “Want to go outside for a bit?” He asked.

Ami nodded to Cody. There was so much tension here.

“I guess Seele is. I never met her.” Tzeitel shrugged. The long jacket sleeves kept her arms covered but out of habit she reached to tug down her t-shirt sleeve after shrugging.

"She's good at what she does, she's the one that did my tattoo" Lyle replied as he patted Cody on the back before gesturing his head to Anna.

Cody grimaced at the pat and took Ami outside.

Anna watched the young man and child leave, frowning. “There seems to be a lot of tension in the air at the moment…”

Lyle nodded and whispered into her ear, catching her up on everything.

Tzeitel sighed. She knew it was her fault. She felt like a terrible mother, terrible sister, terrible friend, failure as a human being.

Annie walked over to Tzeitel and gently squeezed her shoulder before returning to her room for some things.

Tzeitel used the pancakes to make egg and bacon sandwiches for herself and Ami and wrapped them up for travel. Hopefully their appetites will return soon.

Lyle walked over to Tzeitel “you’ll get through this” he replied patting her on the shoulder “the fact you’re willing to get help is a big step in the right direction.”

Tzeitel thought after this many years she should not need help anymore. Her shoulders slumped.

“Hey it’s alright PTSD can be a bitch but you’re not alone” Lyle assured her “we’re with you every step of the way.”

Tzeitel arched an eyebrow skeptically. She had chased her best friend away twice already.

“Klaire is not going to give up on you” Lyle replied as if reading her mind “but you know you have to talk to Leimomi about it.”

“I know. And I will.” Tzeitel put the egg and bacon pancake sandwiches in a bag.

“Good” Lyle replied with a smile “don’t forget you’re a good parent, you may have your faults but who doesn’t”

“I’m not a good parent. A good parent wouldn’t put this much weight on their kids.” Tzeitel said. She rubbed her temples. “Did Colt stay in the Underground?”

“I think he’s outside training” Lyle answered “and you are a good parent you just need some help.”

Tzeitel thought her kids would be happier if she was a good parent. “I’m gonna see Colt.” She said, heading outside to find the wind user.

Lyle nodded “I’ll come get you when we head out.”
