JP - Cussing more Lately
“Of all the weird shit going on now, River and Riley taking her on a clothes shopping trip is the fucking weirdest.” Tzeitel muttered, tossing a coin in the kitchen swear jar.
“Joo, I’ll bet there’s an 80s music montage of her trying on new outfits too.” Piritta said and took Amber to the sauna. She had a day of adventures and mischief planned.
Tzeitel swore under her breath, glanced at Cody and guiltily threw in another coin.
“You’ve been cussing a lot more lately…” Cody pointed out, narrowing his eyes at her with suspicion. “And it’s not just because of the disgusting information we got yesterday.”
Tzeitel sighed, finishing off her coffee and pouring a second cup. “Leimomi thinks it’s because Ami’s the same age I was when my parents sold me to MegaCorp.”
“But we’re not going to sell her to MegaCorp,” Cody said, tilting his head to the side in confusion. “Besides, Ami is tough and seems to always have a solution to things.”
“Of course not. MegaCorp is never getting her.” Tzeitel said, adding some pollen to her coffee. “It’s just… When my life went from bad to worse. She looks just like me.”
“But she’s not…” Cody said. “There are differences between you both.”
“I know that we have differences, I’m glad that she is different from me in so many ways, she’s happier than I was at her age too.” Tzeitel stirred the pollen into the coffee. “But… well… it’s bringing a lot of things back.”
"I know what you mean" Joel said entering the kitchen and taking a seat "after the village I started to get a nightmares of my parents death. Annie has even found me hiding in bushes and stuff in my sleep."
“Fuck trauma.” Tzeitel muttered, tossing a coin in the swear jar.
“Should probably talk to Leimomi about that, dude…” Cody suggested.
Speaking of Annie, she walked in and set a rock in front of Cody and one in front of Tzeitel. “Gilbert said you two could use friends. I set one down by the bed for Ami.”
"I've tried to. It's hard sometimes adjusting to talking to so many people again" Joel admitted.
Tzeitel looked at the rock, careful to not touch it just yet. She had seen Gilbert turn into a Claymore and was not sure how it worked. “Thanks, er, what does it do?”
“It’s a calming rock. Gilbert has many calming friends among my collection. Joel’s favorite is Lucinda because she becomes a comfortable pillow.” Annie explained.
“Oh. Thank you.” Tzeitel said, picking up the rock.
"It's not going to bite," Joel chuckled.
The rock merely warmed and gave off a soft pulse that would help Tzeitel calm down.
“That’s Gigi,” Annie told her with a smile in her eyes. “She’s the best at calming people.”
Tzeitel relaxed slightly, cradling the rock in her hand.
Ami bounced into the kitchen.
Lotus and Leon bounced in behind her, making happy barking noises when they rushed at Tzeitel and hugged her.
Klaire and James soon followed, both laughing softly. “They wanted to wake you up, but only found Ami and decided she would be their victim.” The dog woman announced.
Tzeitel smiled and hugged the twins, then Ami when her sister came close. She loved her family. She gave Klaire a guilty look though.
Klaire shook her head to get Tzeitel to calm down, dog ears twitching. “Everyone eat breakfast yet?” She asked.
“No,” Annie replied as she cooked said breakfast.
“I’m sorry for being a bitch last night.” Tzeitel said quietly to Klaire so Ami would not hear her swearing.
Ami hung around Annie, helping her cook.
Annie was happy to have Ami’s help, even getting the step-stool for her to use. “It is always nice to have help.” She said.
Ami hardly needed the step stool anymore, she was not a hulking five feet tall.
Klaire shrugged. “You’re stressed…” She said and looked at the twins. “Go with James, okay? He’ll get you food from Miss Annie.”
The twins smiled real big and ran over to James, almost making him fall when they jumped on the poor man. “Hey, wai-argh! Okay, okay!” He sputtered and laughed.
