Telepath- hears the thoughts of everyone within fifty feet of himself. The voices in his head nearly drove him mad so he suppresses his power with a collar. Maybe he could learn how to control his power, focus on individuals instead of having the thoughts of everyone forced into his head, but gaining his power has been traumatic and MegaCorp only made it worse so he has no control over his power.

History

Bronte had a pretty normal life until his powers developed. It was hell, all these voices in his head. Medications could not help, the voices were the thoughts of everyone around him. The only peace he could find was to get away from people, unfortunately he lived in a large city. The best he could find was a library's sub basement.

MegaCorp captured him and at first he thought they had cured him when they gave him his collar and stopped the voices. Instead they created a new level of hell for him with their experiments. He was one of the lucky few to escape the Rig with Canestone 5 years ago- the thoughts he read in that monster's mind made him ill for days and destroyed what faith he had left in humanity.

Ever since then Bronte has mostly kept to himself. He managed to get a collar from the Meta Underground and avoids using his powers.

Bronte ran into Bella when she went to get help for a girl being held by Clonestone and Coral. He tried to help, only to end up captured himself. Coral tortured and used him before he was able to escape with help from Bella. He wound up recaptured by MegaCorp again, but the Underground got him out.
He is in the Meta Underground, recovering from what Coral had down to him. He has grown close to Bella. He had freaked out when learning that Coral was pregnant, but had been assured that Riley is the father. He has not yet seen how one of the twins Coral had looks a lot like him.

Bella had a baby and Bronte is loving her like his own daughter, though he is still struggling with his trauma. He has been teaching Bella how to write so she can communicate better.
After escaping the Meta Underground during the attack, Esther took him to the Hellscape to train him. He has since joined the other Meta refugees at the old Bunker and is more confident.
