Mos Espa Desert fight

Location: Hutt's Compound a few hours from Mos Espa, Tatoonie

After rescuing the hacker Anna and the little tech Abu from their cells, the alarms went off blaring loudly. Captain Blue and the mando name Maxx were getting ready for a shootout as they got prepped.

Maxx: Never mind. I can guess what happened.

Blue: So what now?

Maxx: We need to blast our way out.

Blue pulled his big heavy gun out from his back holster and cocked it.

Blue: Good thing I brought this eh?

Maxx pulled out a thermal detonator and nodded.

Maxx: I'll clear the hallway with this first.

Then Blue opened the door as Maxx tossed out the thermal detonator and Blue closed the door before it exploded. the explosion shook the place and then Blue opened the door and they began their escape from the prison section.

Hutt's thugs fired on them as they raced away on bikes in a cloud of dust. They got a head start but could see dust trails behind them in the distance. Most everyone got away with light damage. Mostly blaster burns from the hail of blaster fire as they left.

They were not too far from Mos Espa when they saw a glint of light reflecting off of something in the hills. A storm of blaster fire rained down on them as they tried to make it to the city. This group seems different maybe another mercenary group. They seemed well-trained and organized.

There would be little time to stop with the Hutt thugs behind them.

" I don't think those are droids," Astra said as she started to deflect blaster bolts.

"We are still a ways from the city master if we let to fight to get drugs there more people will be drug into it. Would it not be better to deal with this here" She asked.

The rescue group had contacted the others in the city to meet outside Mos Espa and hopefully get off of Tatooine with little trouble. Kal-Nar thought he had been careful not to be followed He had slipped up somewhere as the blaster fire erupted. He ran out from his cover to try to help cover the rescue group as they came in and looked for cover in the outcropping of rocks.

Patawan Astra was doing her best to defend them too as they stood near each other deflecting bolts of blaster fire. Kal-Nar was trying to get the Murcenarys to concentrate on the two Jedi so far it seemed to work for the moment. it did not take long before the rescue group and others were cut off and encircled. Kal-Nar could only hope that the ships would be there soon.
