Rainey laughed and sat up to eat what he offered "well I hope it wasn't too bad cuz from now on if I have to suffer so do you. I'm going to drag you with me." she said between bites. she finished and laid back down full and content. it was quit way out here with a endless sea of stars above them. her fingers twirled and played with the blades of grass at her sides. they sat like that for a while no talking just the sound of the fire crackling crickets in the grass and light breeze moving through grass. he didn't try to lay with her or disturb her, he just sat with her. she turned and watched him the fire played light across his face. always so serious looking. she liked that he didn't push her. didn't push her to talk didn't push her to be more than what they were. it made her feel safe and comfortable. she tugged the back of his shirt till he looked at her. "Hey I don't think i have asked in a while but are you ok? like really?"
