Marley smiled at Sam "I'm sure I can handle whatever they throw at me but if you really think i need to stay close i will." most people didn't know that Marley used her happy bubbly personality like armor. growing up a king was hard not only due to the work but the way the world saw you. the way the world treated you and unlike the other sisters she took it more to heart. always had.
even if the rez people didn't like her she wasn't going to let on how much it would bother her. she would smile through it. she found that being positive made people just as uncomfortable as she was, it hard to hate someone who says its ok to hate them. and it's hard to be mean to someone who is nice to you.

Kate smiled and nodded and laughed at something one of the rangers said, he was attracted to her and giving it the old college try. poor thing. Kate had little to no interest in men and thought most of them stupid and incompetent. the other ranger, the one who was clearly in charge, didn't speak much and didn't take off his shades which she found odd. she could see his eyes, but she could feel them on her, like hot lasers burning her skin. she turned her gaze on him and gave him a once over just to let him know she knew he was staring. "So... what's the plan? are you going to station people out on the land incase these men show up or re we just supposed to give you a call if we see something? " She was asking mostly Mr. Embery. she knew he would have the final say.
