David waited till the men had gone to come out of his hiding spot. he slid onto a seat next to the man who had warned him " well? what did they want?" he grumbled.
he had few things they could be asking about. drugs, prostitutes, just to name a few though he couldn't think of anything but drugs that he had been involved in recently. he also didn't know how the man who warned him was and wanted to know what he was going to get out of helping himself. money most likely.

Amelia was sitting in the office when she heard the sound of gravel as a black sedan cruised up her driveway. what had that boy done now? she thought to herself. by the time she made her way to the front door they had just nocked. she opened it with a hand on her hip " and how can i help you boys this fine day?" she asked with only a little bit of attitude. " You miss Amelia king? he asked politely. these were not just any cops these were Texas rangers. "The one and only." she answered "well mam me and my associate would like to speak with you about some characters that might be in your area." Amilea crossed her arms over her chest. "Characters?"
