03.17: Ayala

Emma wasn’t about to get into an argument with the girl about ‘spirits’, she was not one for fakery and mumbo jumbo. However, Ayala had to come first.
“We do not know why you were sent to us, Ayala. That might be revealed to us in the future.”
Emma knew that if Ayala was left to her own devices, someone would bag her and use her for something, she was woefully prepared for this version of the world. She glanced at her new manicure, and knew that she wouldn’t last ten minutes in Ayala’s world.
“You can certainly have your furs back, they are your property after all. However, this is a place where there are young men, immature and impressionable young men. So, I would ask you not to wear them in public places. You will have your own space where you can do what you want. No fires inside the building though, our buildings do not respond well to fire.”
