Shen had meant about his working late into the night, but realized that going to the media center after hours were probably not really allowed. It finally dawned on him that every student at the school might be what was called a mutant. He was still trying to wrap his mind around the concept of being one. It was certainly better than being a ghost boy. He hadn't had any grand revelations, just that the so-called apparition that had terrorized the neighborhood around the school back home had apparently been him. It would have been funny had it been happening to someone else, and it not have been linked to the death of his brother. It was indirect, but he would much rather have been a krahang than lose his sibling.

"It's sort of tragic that a death can completely change everything, but I am glad that Mr. Xavier's dream still lives on, and we can be part of it. Even if the implications are a little terrifying."
