"Exchange....." Ayala said slowly.
"For what want. Trade. 'Shopping' is trade?"
Trade, at least, she could understand. Her brood sometimes, though rarely, traded with others when they were smart enough to realize trying to steal from her brood would end badly.
She frowned, realizing she had nothing to trade. She would not trade her spear for anything, save perhaps the life of a friend. She wouldn't even trade her furs, assuming she ever got them back.
Nothing to be done, she supposed.
"You 'shop.' I watch. Protect."
