Bernice Summerfield was one of the most popular people on the faculty, she was firm but fair, she was also wilfully wicked sometimes. However, right now her eyes were wide in astonishment and flaring in Ethan's direction.
Why in the name of all that is holy would he put such an inappropriate idea to put in a new arrival's head? What was he thinking? It wasn't like they had treated him badly when he and his monstrous ego of yours arrived here. She decided that if he ever said anything so crass to a new arrival again and he would find himself running punishment laps until he threw up
Fortunately Ayala didn't seem to have noticed what Ethan had said about being treated well.
"San-wech," Bernice repeated smiling widely. "Very good."
Ethan immediately redeemed himself by offering to share his 'san-wech', he was a good boy at heart, but what a dichotomy he was.
