10.06: Meeting the Police

Noah had submitted his report on the daylight burglary that he had led. Sophie and Shakeel, and the two red-shirts he had taken with him. Both had proven having completed the covert action module of their espionage training they were adaptable and quick thinking. Although Shakeel’s impromptu toilet break was a black mark against him. But he had gained a fine yucca plant which apparently he had found a pot for and named the thing. He had had to clean the back of the car out because of all the dirt from the root ball, so Noah thought that was penalty enough for having a number two on an op.
He was walking across the lobby when he saw the familiar face of Reinhardt Jaeger, the stunning handsome NYPD detective he had had such a huge crush on when he first came here. Finding out he was married with twin daughters had ended that infatuation pretty damned quickly.
Right now he was here to see Tessa Niles as she had followed up on the info Noah and the others had illegally collected. Fortunately Jaeger was a staunch ally of the school and was not averse to using information gathered on missions. Undisclosed ‘confidential informants’ were the mainstay of modern police work.
