12.05: Ni-Bump-ght

If it is a ghost or whatever that other thing is. Then it's more than likely Charles. I can't tell Val until I know for sure. That would be cruel. If I am right the spot where I saw the moon reflecting perfectly on the water would be right where the old house was. Probably just a coincidence.

The moon reflecting perfectly at the old house site was her only lead, it was a crappy lead. Most investigators probably wouldn't even consider it, she knew Dick Tracy & Dredd would never consider it. She didn't want to raise any suspicions. It was still night so she went back out to the water. She approached the edge she could make no discernible change in the weird feeling. She walked into the water still no change. She walked further and further. Her head was just barely above water still no change.

When alive we all seek shelter, from her experience ghosts are the same. So if Charles is a ghost he is probably in the house underwater. She took a deep breath and crouched. She tried to find the house. It was to dark to see far underwater even with the moonlight. She stood back up. She regretted never learning to swim. She walked back to shore. She would need to learn to swim and get an oxygen tank all the while having that annoying feeling gnawing at her. She sat down on the shore. She took her shoes off and poured the water out. She walked back to the house.

Back in her room she looked up videos on Youtube about how to swim she also found videos teaching people how to hold your breath longer. She set out to watch everything she could find.
