09.01: Boston Bound

Bobby Drake had entered the communications suite earlier and had been in a side room awaiting the arrival of those selected. Both were known to him, like Emma Frost he was one of the mentors to this group, they acted as what Val Cooper-Xavier called handlers. Bobby preferred the word mentors.
“As you are aware Cerebro continues to map and record everyone on the planet. The clarity of its field of ‘perception’ expands each day but the Earth is a big place and rather crowded, there is still a lot of work to do.” Without Charles Xavier at the helm the Cerebro machine was not that accurate any more. “Well, one such has shown up in Boston, because Cerebro’s mapping is still in progress we have narrowed the area to a small part of the borough of Dorchester. Given the movements within that area we feel it is safe to assume that the mutant in question lives there, and if as is usually the case they are a teenager the most likely place for them to be educated is the Boston Collegiate Charter School.”
“We will both be going with you, along with Jack Cooper,” Emma said, “it makes sense to have an educator along if we are going to be prowling around a school. Questions?”
