06.04: Salem Center

Danny was settled in his new home and had ventured out to town, Salem Center, he had an afternoon free and felt like stretching his legs. He was looking for a bake shop that he had googled in town. Danny had befriended the school’s chef and she was giving him cooking lessons. So, he had been told to ask for any new equipment he might want for the kitchen. While shopping online was easy he needed to feel this kind of thing in his hands, hence he was following a map to the cookshop.
It was situated about a block from a local high school, at this time of day it was turning out and he moved between the students. It was a nice feeling to be in such a normal setting after the recent months of his life. His phone told him to cut through an alley that cut a shortcut across a couple of blocks.
Danny had his music on and wasn’t really paying that much attention. But the altercation ahead of him eventually caught his attention. Specifically it was his school mate Tom standing in the mix that really drew his gaze.
