Possum Kisses

River was drinking her coffee and snapping quick photos of Serenity when the text came in. Her phone vibrated with life and she set her camera down to pick up the phone. Sitting down, she found the text and silently read it.

Hey, it's Tam. I'm sorry to bug you but I was wondering if I could ask you for a favor?

Perplexed by the message, she glanced up at Serenity. Seeing how busy her friend was, she decided to consult the blond when she was done and responded quickly.

Sure, what is it?

Something in River's stomach was twisting with worry. She had gotten a sense that things were not good at home with Tam, but she had been too polite to ask.

"I hope everything is okay..." She whispered.

When Serenity got off the ice, she waved her over.

Kevin sighed with a forced grin. "Sure," He said, hugging Bonnie close. "That was a low blow, though, dude. Using Bonnie against me like this!" He used a dramatic tone. "Such an evil man, isn't he?!"

A laugh erupted from the blonde male as Kent finally stepped outside. The lights were off and he was locking the door, eyes glaring at them as he limped by and walked toward home silently.

"Did his limp get worse?" He inquired as Bonnie got free of his arms and practically hopped back to Max. "Traitor!"

Bonnie climbed her way to Max's shoulders, sticking her tongue out as she got comfortable. Turning that tongue to said the dark haired man, she licked his face happily with little possum kisses.
