Tam went to Kent and carefully gave him a hug. "We can celebrate when you get out of here." She kissed his cheek and turned as Veronica entered the room.

"Your surgery was a success." She said with a smirk. "Given yours truly did the work it's really no surprise." She looks his chart over. "You'll need to rest for a while, let the leg heal, and we'll get you to see a physical therapist to help regain your strength. It'll take a while, but you'll have full use of your leg." She smiled at them both.

Chris nodded his head vigorously. "Yes please! I love ice cream!" And Chris didn't want to admit that getting ice cream with River was an even greater treat than ice cream on its own.
