Veronica's eyes flashed with familiarity. "The girl who's brother was shot? You two are..." she smiled. "I see. Well then feel free to talk to her. I'll just go deal with the paperwork." Veronica picked up her chart and gestured for Kent to leave the exam room with a warm smile on her face. "When you're done just talk with the nurse and we'll get you admitted."

Said nurse was on the phone with Serenity and Veronica was happy to take the phone from her. "Serenity? Dietary restrictions? No, Chris should be able to eat whatever he wants. Thanks for checking in though. Have a good day." She smiled as she handed the phone back to the nurse. "Get that nice boy Kent admitted when he comes back, okay?"

He was already liking Bonnie's latest addition to the family. "You do realize that you'll most likely be registered as a sex offender after this? Given that you went to them to confess they may not give you jail time... but I don't see you getting out of this without becoming registered..."
