Chris nodded. "Yes, River." There was no concern that Chris wouldn't eat, however. He was loving the food she made.

Max felt a stone form in his gut as Kevin called him out, and suddenly he couldn't look at Kevin again. "I... I know you want a girl... you want a family... I understand that...but...
