Possum Vs. Mice

"You're welcome, everyone," River said happily as she turned everything off and sat down to eat her own waffle. "When we're done, I'll clean up. And I always tell you that you don't need to apologize, Serenity. I know you're a klutz in the kitchen, silly."

Seeing Winter do his little war dance, she giggled.

Kent smiled, blushing at Tam's words as he slowly ate. "It's really good." He stated, drinking a glass of water with it all. He was still wincing slightly when he moved certain ways, but tried not to show the pain.

"It's probably best..." Kevin stated as he got rid of the dead mouse. "Though, if Bonnie keeps at it, she might kill all the mice for you." At these words, the little possum was back beneath the couch and odd little growls and scratches could be heard soon after.
