Goo-Goo Eyes

As River prepared dinner Chris watched her, completely enamored by the sight of her cooking. It was not just that this pretty girl was cooking, it was the motherly aura she projected. Not even Tam managed to look like River was now when she prepared him breakfast. It was always a mad dash. Here, however, it seemed like River danced around the kitchen.

Tam noted the goo-goo eyes her brother had and chuckled. Then her heart skipped a beat when she heard Kent enter. She turned and went to him, throwing her arms around him. "You're finally home. I missed you." She looked to River. "And yeah, don't know where this came from but it's a lovely side of her." Then she looked back up at him. "How was your day?"

Max sighed. "I know... it still hurts to see you do something so stupid... I do care about you, you know." He finally sat back down. "And I don't know what to do. This is something that won't be easy to get through... If that bitch claims you raped her or... god forbid you got her pregnant... This could get a whole lot worse..."

Then he looked to Kevin's phone. "So I take it your folks are on their way?"
