Ask Before You Take

The moment Tam took her laptop, a very angry look crossed River's face. Her dark eyes turned on the blond and she waited until she was done to take her laptop back. When she did, though, she spoke in a very cold voice. "Ask before you take something." She said sternly and walked out the room.

Kevin grimaced and glanced down the street with a frown. "I really don't want to talk about it right now, Max." He said, biting back the anxiety building inside of him. "I don't want anyone to hear anything anyway..."

Bonnie tilted her head, little ears twitching before she began reaching toward the blond man with worry. She was practically scrambling out of Max's arms.
