Safety First

Tam sighed at the news that Kent had to go. She went and laid her head on his shoulder and shrugged. "Maybe... some soda? Juice for Chris?" Then she tilted her head to whisper in Kent's ear: "And lots of condoms." Which she punctuated with a wry wink before going to check on Chris.

Seeing the boy was sound asleep she smiled and returned to the paperwork Serenity had given her and started to read and sign it. It was all fairly straightforward, and a part of her was excited to start this new job.

"Serenity?" She soon called for the skater once she was done. Then she looked to River. "So what's it like to have Serenity for a boss?" She asked, half-jokingly.

Max sighed. "That wasn't helpful, Bonnie." He sighed and looked to the people around him that were staring. "Therapy animal... Just..." He then bolted out of the store and hopped back in his car. "You won't get any cheetos from me, missy. That was beyond embarrassing." He sighed and started the car. He had a feeling he needed to head back to the pet store and pick up Kevin.
