Tam nodded, she did want to get to Chris and see if he'd be able to come home. Things were moving fast, and for once in a good direction. However she leaned into Kent and whispered: "When you do go to your father, I promise to be there with you. I won't let you be alone with him." Then she joined him at the table for breakfast and absolutely loved it. "Wow, River, this is amazing! Thank you!"

Then it came time for her to shower and get ready to head to the hospital. Once again they took Serenity's car and arrived to the sight of a very nervous looking, Veronica.

"Err... I tried contacting you but... well... Chris's mom came and is planning to take him home... her home..."

Tam was flabbergasted. "My mom? The fuck? Where is she? She ran out on us when things got bad! How can she do this!" Tam was glad they were in a hospital, because she was ready to stab a bitch...

Max chuckled. "Yes, city girls are crazy. I mean, I wouldn't know, but that's what I hear." He shrugged. He only had a couple beers and was feeling buzzed but not too sloshed. "Sadly this town is very lacking in men of my particular taste." He sighed and began to flick through the site to find another movie. "Should we hazard another horrible horror movie?"
